How can I permanently remove these cryptic links off my WL Space?
All users of Windows Live Spaces have very complicated links in their Windows Live

What's the "verification code" and how does it work?
By using the verification code we check if the given Windows Live Space is actually yours, since only you have the ability,
to change your Windows Live Space.
With this code we make sure that no other user - besides the owner - can use a Windows Live Space on SpazezLinks™.
Hence, SpazezLinks™ can only be used with verified Windows Live Spaces.
to use the verification code correctly and to ensure a correct functionality, it has to be placed once in any blog-entry on your Windows Live Space.
Here's how to do this easily:
First, add a new Windows Live Space to your profile on SpazezLinks™.
Next, you will see your Windows Live Space in your list including the following icon
in the column "Verification".
This icon shows your Windows Live Space has not been verified yet.
Now, click on the icon
to get the verification code. Select the whole code and copy it (e. g.
by using the keys <Ctrl>+C on your keyboard).
Switch to your Windows Live Space and insert the verification code in any existing or new blog-entry (e. g. by using the keys <Ctrl>+V on your keyboard).
Save the blog-entry on your Windows Live Space.
Information about the permissions who can view your space:
If your permission to view your Windows Live Space is set to "People I choose" or "Just me"
you have to switch for only a short time to "Anyone on the Internet", otherwise we cannot check the existance of the veriufication code on your Windows Live Space.
Now, switch back to SpazezLinks™ und click on the icon

SpazezLinks™ now checks the existance of the verification code on your Windows Live Space.
If everything worked perfect, the icon will change to
in the column
"Verification" which shows your Windows Live
Space has been verified successfully as your own.
Information about the permissions who can view your space:
If you want to switch the permission to view your Windows Live
Space back to "People I choose" or "Just me"
you can now change it back to your original settings, since your space has been verified and will be for the future.
Done! From now you can use SpazezLinks™ with its complete fuctionality and create your own SpazezLinks™. Enjoy it!
Hint:
Since Windows Live Spaces don't accept the so called "comment-tag" in HTML of a blog-entry, we suggest to edit you latest blog-entry
and enter the verification code to the end of this bolg-entry by using
the same color as the background.
Don't worry, the blog-entry will have the same date as before and the order of the entries will also be the same as before
- everything will be as before.
However, your blog-entry with the verification code should already exist at least 24 hours, since the verification code
would be visible in blog-entries, which are collected by so called "RSS-Readers" (news readers and aggregators).
Of course, this wouldn't bad, since noone can use it - it's only a "cosmetic" question. ;)
Can I even use SpazezLinks™, if my Windows Live Space already has "personalized web address" (simple URL)?
Yes.
Some Windows Live Space-owners already have a so called "personalized web address" (this means a Windows Live Space-URL without a leading "cid-").
For using SpazezLinks™ it is not relevant, how the existing web address of your Windows Live Space looks like - it works totally independent.

http://xyz.spazez.com) needs no registration at all and thus no personal data are needed.
You simply create your SpazezLink™ and use it in emails, on other websites or in the Messenger - that's all!
For the standard-version of SpazezLinks™ where you need to register to create individual links (e. g.
http://xyz.spazez.com/myphoto etc.), we only need a few information about you where you can additionally decide, which of them you want to show others.
Of course we need an email-address (for the so called "Double Opt-in"), but even this can be (and also should be!) a complete different one from the email-address you are using on Windows Live Spaces.
It is self-evident that we don't pas your data to anyone - only you decide whch data ou want to show others.
Are there any statistics, to see how often my SpazezLinks™ have been used?
